The zip line is on most people's Costa Rica checklists. It involves you flying through the trees of the rain forest canopy tethered to a cable and is a whole lot of fun and a total adrenaline rush! Our favorite tour is run by Chiclet's in Playa Hermosa. Their staff is comprised of the most fun group of people you could ask for in this situation. The tour typically takes 2 hours and costs $60/person.
Bungee Jumping
Pacific Bungee in Jaco runs the closest bungee jumping tour to Del Pacifico. They offer 4 different types of jumps and several package deals if you would like to try more than one type of jump.
ATV Tours
There are several providers based out of Jaco that offer daily ATV tours around the mountains near Jaco. You can go for a 2 hour tour or up to 6 hours with the rate dependant upon the number of hours. If you have a whole day free, a great option is a 7 hour tour which includes a hike to the waterfalls. The tours run from $70/person up to $170/person.
Canyoning
Canyoning is basically rappelling off of a waterfall. This has been hot in Europe for years but is just gaining popularity in the Americas. Not for the faint of heart. There are a few different tour operators - contact us for assistance in finding the right one for you.
